It’s hard to deny that Razer’s gaming laptops are attractive options for those who wish to take their gaming on the go. These laptops are well-designed, relatively slim, and most importantly powerful. However they are also expensive in which its price tag can be a bit off-putting for some users.

However Razer is hoping to change that perception as the company has recently announced a new base model for the Razer Blade 15. The new base model will be priced at a lower price compared to the current model, making it a little more affordable for those who want a gaming laptop.

So what kind of specs are we looking at for the base model? It will be powered by Intel’s 8th generation Core i7 processor, and will be sporting a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a 60Hz refresh rate. We’re also looking at 16GB of RAM with support for up to 32GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU with 6GB of VRAM. There will be SSD storage options, and it will come with Windows 10 Home installed.

As for pricing, the base model of the Razer Blade 15 with 128GB of SSD storage will be priced starting at $1,599, while the 256GB SSD option will go for $1,799. This is versus the Advanced Model which is priced starting at $2,199.
