Fortnite, the world’s most popular game, can be played at a glorious 60 frames per second on Apple’s latest iPhones. It was confirmed earlier today that Fortnite has amassed more than 200 million registered players across the globe. Those who use the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR among those players can go about their business in Fortnite at 60fps.

This is a unique advantage that owners of Apple’s latest iPhones have over the players who are playing Fortnite on Android smartphones and the Nintendo Switch. The title does not have the option to run at 60fps on those platforms.

The 60fps option is available for Fortnite players on the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR. This will result in a smoother and crisper visual experience for the players. In contrast, players on the Nintendo Switch and Android can only run Fortnite at 30fps.

Granted, most Android smartphones are cheaper than Apple’s latest iPhones, even the Nintendo Switch is a lot cheaper. The console is currently priced at $300, a full $700 less than the $1,000 starting price for the iPhone XS.

Most customers who purchased the latest iPhones bought it for reasons other than gaming on the go as well but if they do want to play Fortnite, they can rest assured that their visual experience will be better than what their counterparts get.
