During BlizzCon 2018, Blizzard introduced a new hero to Overwatch in the form of Ashe who seems to come from the same background as McCree. Ashe is an interesting character as one of her abilities is to summon Bob, her robotic butler, to her side to aid her in battle. For those interested in the character, you’ll be pleased to learn that Ashe is now playable in the game.

This is according to an announcement by Blizzard in which they recently released the latest patch notes for the game, where one of the highlights of the latest patch is the introduction of Ashe. Previously the hero was only playable in the PTR, but like we said, moving from PTR to the public release usually doesn’t take too long in Blizzard’s case.

According to Blizzard, “Ashe’s arsenal of weapons makes her a versatile offensive hero, capable of setting up the perfect situation to shoot down dangerous enemies from range or deal high area-of-effect burst damage to groups of heroes.” Ashe will feature four different abilities: Viper, Coach Gun, Dynamite, and Bob.

The patch notes also mentions various balancing changes that Blizzard made to the game and heroes, updates to certain maps, updates to the UI, and also general bug fixes.
