It has been almost a month since the much-awaited Red Dead Redemption 2 was launched. Rockstar had previously said that it would launch the game’s online mode in beta soon. That’s going to happen tomorrow. Rockstar has confirmed that Red Dead Online will go live in beta on November 27th.

The Red Dead Online beta won’t go live for everyone at the same time. Rockstar is staggering the launch so it will go live for some users initially. It’s likely doing this to prevent the server issues that had caused problems when GTA Online was rolled out a few years back.

Customers who purchased the ultimate edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 will get access to the beta from tomorrow. The beta will then open up to anyone who played the game when it launched on October 26th the following day. It will be playable on Thursday for anyone who played the title between October 26th and 29th. Red Dead Online beta will then finally be opened up to all players on Friday, November 30th.

Red Dead Online is free for anyone who owns the Red Dead Redemption 2 game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. The base game is the foundation of the online mode which takes on a life of its own that’s shared by multiple players.
