There’s absolutely no shortage of gaming controllers for Android smartphones on the market. However, if you’re a Razer fan, you may want to look at the one this company recently launched, even though it costs more than what most people would be comfortable paying for an accessory of this kind.

Razer announced its Raiju mobile controller in October with the Razer Phone 2. The controller brings console-level controls to most Android smartphones that can be docked on its stands and rotated up to 60 degrees for playing games on the go.

It has the company’s signature Razer Mecha-Tactile Action buttons for button actuation at high speed with a soft, cushioned touch. It’s possible to individually remap each of the four multi-function buttons to preferred commands.

The mechanical stop-switches can be activated to significantly reduced the travel distance to the Raiju’s main triggers so that players can go into full rapid fire mode with just a slight press. The sensitivity clutch function can be assigned to a multifunction button and players can hold it temporarily to decreased thumbstick sensitivity for more precise aiming in FPS games.

Razer is now taking orders for the Raiju controller through its online store. It costs $150. It will be available from select retailers as well starting next year.
