Facebook really seems to have taken a liking to the Stories feature. Why wouldn’t it, the company has seen a great response from users for this feature. It started by copying this feature from Snapchat for Instagram but has since expanded it to many of its properties. You can find it in Messenger and Facebook proper both and now you will find Stories in Facebook Group as well.

Facebook has confirmed today that it’s rolling out the Group Stories feature globally. It launched this feature on a limited scale earlier this year. Clearly, the response has been good enough to convince Facebook that it needs to offer this feature to all users across the globe.

Stories posted by a Group on Facebook will show up at the very top of its page. Users will be able to contribute to it by clicking on the “add” button beside it. They will be able to upload photos or videos from their device, add stickers, texts, effects, and more. It’s basically the same Stories feature they already use on Facebook that they can now use in Groups as well.

Group moderators have the final say on whether a story is approved before it shows up for all members. Moderators will also be able to mute members or make it so that only admins can contribute to the Group’s Stories.
