Instagram has updated its Stories features several times ever since it was launched, where with every new update, it gets more tools and functionality. If you are an avid Stories user, then you might be interested to learn that Instagram has since issued a new update to Stories that will introduce more features to it.

One of the new features introduced to Stories comes in the form of music, where users can now respond to questions you ask with songs from Instagram’s music library. For example you could ask your followers for song recommendations and they can reply directly with songs instead of typing it out and you having to search for the song yourself later.

Speaking of questions, if you’re hosting an Instagram Live session, you’ll be able to use the question feature so that those who are tuned in to your live session will be able to ask questions where you’ll be able to find those questions in the Q&A section, instead of having to scroll through all the comments.

Last but not least, Instagram is adding the ability to countdown to a particular moment. According to Instagram, “After you’ve created a countdown, it will be available in your sticker tray to reuse in new stories until the countdown ends. Your friends can tap on your countdown to follow or share it to their own story; anyone who follows or shares your countdown will get a notification when the countdown ends.” These features should already be live so make sure you have the latest version of Instagram if you want to check them out.
