Xiaomi hasn’t rapidly expanded outside China and other Asian countries but it has been taking concrete steps to improve its brand recognition in the West. It recently launched a couple of handsets in the United Kingdom alongside other accessories and smart products. The company has now confirmed that it will launch the Mi Mix 3 in the United Kingdom.
Xiaomi considers the United Kingdom an important market for its expansion into the West. The company even has a flagship retail store in the capital city of London to position itself as a serious contender in the smartphone market.
The Mi 8 Pro is currently the best device that Xiaomi has on offer in the UK but that’s going to change starting early next month. That’s because the company will be launching the latest Mi Mix 3 high-end device in the country.
There’s obviously no saying right now how much this device will cost in the United Kingdom, but given the company’s aggressive pricing strategy both at home and abroad, it’s certainly going to be cheaper from other high-end models made by the likes of Samsung. What Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed at this point in time is that if it’s going to offer the 5G variant of the Mi Mix 3 that it received showed off in the country as well next year.
