#CES2019 – When it comes to choosing monitors, there are monitors created for photo editing, video editing, gaming, and so on, with each monitor sporting different features that cater to different needs. Now if you’re a gamer who is in need of a gaming monitor, then you might be interested in ViewSonic’s latest monitors.

The company has recently announced the XG240R and XG350R-C gaming monitors where one of the shared key features of both monitors is the ability to sync up with different lighting systems used by different manufacturers. Naturally companies would prefer you buy into their ecosystem, but ViewSonic’s monitors are expected to play nicely with various other lighting systems, such as the TT RGB PLUS by Thermaltake, Chroma by Razer, and MasterPlus by Cooler Master.

In terms of specs, the XG240R will be a 24-inch display with a Full HD resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, along with a response time of 1ms. As for the XG350R-C, this will be a curved monitor with a WQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution, but other than that the specs appear to be the same.

Both monitors will support HDMI and DP connections, and will also offer USB 3.0 ports and also AMD FreeSync, along with built-in speakers. While not the most impressive monitors we’ve come across, they do seem to sport pretty solid specs for their prices and if you’re not looking for anything too fancy, they should be more than capable of getting the job done.

The XG240R and XG350R-C will be priced at $266 and $716 respectively and are expected to be made available later this month.
