About a month after the handset was originally unveiled, the LG G8 ThinQ U.S. release date has finally been confirmed today. The company’s latest Android flagship smartphone will be available for purchase starting April 11th in the country. The handset was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona last month. The LG G8 ThinQ brings a minimalist design that’s blended with new camera hardware, touchless controls, and flagship-level internals for a complete package.

The LG G8 ThinQ is powered by the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform from Qualcomm and features a 6.1 inch QHD+ OLED display with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. There’s a 16 megapixel wide and 12 megapixel standard camera at the back in addition to an 8 megapixel front camera with a Time of Flight sensor. There’s also a 3,500mAh battery and the device runs Android Pie out of the box.

Customers will be able to purchase the LG G8 ThinQ from carriers and retailers across the country starting April 11th. It will be sold by the likes of Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Xfinity Mobile, Best Buy, and B&H.

Prices start at $819.99 and introductory promotions include up to $150 off the device for a limited time at launch. The promotions will vary by carrier and retailer. The carriers will obviously confirm their own pricing for the handset.
