If you’re getting a bit bored of the way Facebook looks, you’re in luck because at the company’s annual F8 developer conference, they took the wraps off what appears to be a brand new upcoming design that they will be rolling out across all platforms, including mobile and the web versions of Facebook.

This redesign, known as FB5, will feature a much brighter and cleaner-looking interface. As it stands, Facebook currently sports a design with the Facebook-blue navigation bar at the top of the page, but judging by what we can tell from the video, Facebook will be doing away with that in favor of a completely white and bright interface.

If you’re worried about this being potentially glaring, not to worry because Facebook also announced that they will be introducing a dark mode for the web version of Facebook as well. Unfortunately, there was no mention of whether the dark mode could come to the mobile version, but given that more mobile apps (including Messenger), we wouldn’t be surprised if it were to come to the mobile version later on.

There is no mention of when this redesign is expected to roll out, but we have to admit that it does look a lot better than the current version, so we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for it.
