Let’s face it, we’ve all been guilty of being at some point too busy to reply to a text message. However, the good news for Android users is that in the future, Google will remind you to reply to those messages, or at least they will do so if you are using Google Messages.

This is according to a discovery by XDA Recognized Developer Quinny899 who was tinkering around with Google Messages and found some upcoming hidden features. One of those features comes in the form of SMS Reminders, which as the name suggests will let users set a reminder for their text messages so that they can be reminded to reply it in a set period of time.

It does seem like it could be a useful feature if you’re the type that forgets a lot or if you find yourself in a situation where you can’t reply until later. However, as XDA Developers points out, users who use notification snoozing might not find it quite as useful, but it could still come in handy for those who don’t.

In addition to SMS Reminders, another feature called Verified SMS was found, where as the name implies, this is a feature that can verify incoming SMS to make sure that it is from a verified sender, as opposed to it being spam or a scam.
