Some renders had appeared online recently, suggesting that Microsoft may soon launch a purple Xbox One S for a limited time. It would be a tie-in with the popular Fortnite Battle Royale game, hence the rather familiar paint job. Microsoft has now started selling the console officially. It’s called the Xbox One S Fortnite Battle Royale Special Edition Bundle.

The console itself is the same Xbox One S that has been out for a long time now. The only thing that’s new here is the paint job. It’s finished in a gradient purple color which is perfectly in line with the overall color scheme of Fortnite.

This bundle includes a 1TB Xbox One S console with a purple controller and a copy of Fortnite Battle Royale. Additional perks include 2000 V-Bucks worth of in-game currency as well as a Dark Vertex Cosmetic Suit. There’s also a one-month trial of Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold included in this bundle.

Those who want to pick one up can do so starting June 7th. Microsoft is selling the bundle online for $299. There’s a good deal available for those who pick it up soon. Microsoft is selling the bundle for $50 off during launch. This price will be available until June 17th on Microsoft’s online store and Xbox.com.
