Online gig platform Fiverr has launched a gaming store in order to tap into the popularity of battle royale titles like Fortnite and PUBG. Those who are looking to improve their skills in these games can hire coaches starting from $5 so that they can better compete against the millions of people who play these games on a daily basis.
Fiverr launched its online gaming store earlier this week. It will enable game experts to market their special skills to players. For example, anyone looking for coaching to improve their Fortnite skills will be able to hire the services of a coach through the platform.
“We want to help power the current growth that exists in the broader gaming industry, with the freelance talent and services to help game creators meet their needs,” Fiverr Chief Executive Officer Micha Kaufman said.
The price for that starts at $5, with starting lessons about the essential survival skills for the game and how to choose the best landing spots and guns. The cost will obviously be higher for one-on-one coaching sessions.
The online game store offers more than just coaches for Fortnite and PUBG. Services are available in over two dozen categories ranging from developing a game to improving game streams on platforms like Twitch.
