Microsoft recently confirmed the pricing of the Xbox Series S and Series X at $299 and $499 respectively. For the most part, the Series S is relatively affordable, but the Series X is a bit more pricey, especially in these trying times. So what does this mean for gamers who wish to own the more expensive version of the console?

Thankfully, Microsoft has announced that as part of the Xbox All Access program, customers will be able to purchase either console on a monthly payment basis over the period of 24 months. This applies to both the Xbox Series S and Series X, where the former will cost $24.99 a month, while the latter will cost $34.99 a month.

Obviously this adds up to more than the actual price of the console, but it should be noted that this will also include not just the console, but also Microsoft’s Game Pass Ultimate. This in turn will give gamers access to a library of over 200 titles which includes Xbox exclusives like Halo and Forza.

Microsoft had previously offered similar monthly installments for the Xbox One S, so this wouldn’t be the first time. We’re not sure if Sony has plans to introduce a similar plan, but monthly installments could make the Xbox Series S and X more appealing.
