If you’re shopping about for a new drone, you might be interested to learn that DJI has recently announced its latest drone in the form of the DJI Air 2S. This is not a small drone by any means, nor is it particularly large, so it’s perfect for those who want something in the middle that’s still relatively easy to bring around.

The drone comes with a built-in camera that sports a 20MP 1-inch sensor that can also record 5.4K videos at 30 fps, 4K videos at 60 fps, 4x digital zoom, and will also be able to shoot in three color profiles: Normal, D-Log, or HLG, depending on your personal preference and shooting styles.

The Air 2S weighs in at 595g, making it slightly heavier than its predecessor which weighed 570g, but we’re not sure if it will be that obvious. However, the extra weight does mean that it will have to carry a heavier load, which reduces its flight time from 33 minutes from its predecessor to 31 minutes. Whether or not this will have a negative impact on your needs will depend on your shooting style.

If the DJI Air 2S sounds like a drone you might be interested in, it is priced at $999 for the drone only, but there is a bundle priced at $1,299 that comes with three batteries, a charging dock, ND filters, and a shoulder bag. More information about the drone or to purchase it can be found on DJI’s website.
