A potential problem that some of you might have when it comes to third-party webcams is how well it fits and sits on your computer monitor. For the most part, there aren’t many issues and we haven’t really seen much complaints, but if you have been eyeing Lenovo’s recently announced monitors, then you might want to consider the company’s webcams as well.

In addition to the monitors, Lenovo also announced a couple of new webcams in the form of the Lenovo LC50 and the MC50, both of which seem to have been designed to fit Lenovo’s ThinkVision monitors perfectly.

With the LC50, it will connect to the monitor via a USB cable and will sit on top of the monitor magnetically, which kind of reminds us of Logitech’s magnetic webcam designed for Apple’s Pro Display XDR. In terms of features, the LC50 will feature a 1080p resolution, dual noise-cancelling microphones, and it will also come with a physical lens shutter for better privacy, and an indicator light that lets you know when the microphone is on.

As for the MC50, it will fit on any of Lenovo’s ThinkVision P or T series. Like the LC50, it has a FHD resolution and dual noise-cancelling microphones. The LC50 will be priced at $80 and will be available this September, while the MC50 will retail for $99 and will be available in Q3 2021.
