Apple Gives Its Apple ID Website A Fresh Overhaul

Apple ID is Apple’s account system used to sync up devices and purchases. It’s useful if you’ve bought into Apple’s ecosystem and want to download apps and sync up iCloud files across devices like the iPhone, iPad, and Mac computers.

Since it was intended to be used on devices, we suppose Apple never really saw the need for users to access it through the web, which is why the Apple ID website has always felt and looked a bit dated, but that isn’t the case anymore as the company has given it a makeover where it now looks more modern and sports a cleaner design compared to before.

Upon signing in, users will be able to access all their Apple ID information and make changes to their account. This includes changing their password, account security, account recovery, as well as seeing all the Apple devices that are associated with that particular ID. Users will also be able to make changes to payment methods, Family Sharing, and more.

It feels like Apple is slowly updating its web services where not too long ago, the company rolled out an updated design for its iCloud Mail platform. Granted, most users probably check their Apple ID and email on their phones and computers through dedicated apps, but it’s good that Apple now has a more modern look for the web for users who need to use it.
