Back in 2020, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei announced that he would be leaving the company and forming a new company called Nothing. The company’s first product came in the form of a pair of true wireless earbuds, but what else has the company planned for the future?

Speaking to India Today Tech, Nothing India’s Vice President and General Manager Manu Sharma revealed that the company is actually working on five new products. Sharma does not state what they are, he notes that at least one of those products will be launching before the end of 2021.

According to Sharma, “For our way forward, our mission is to build for the future. We are speeding up very rapidly in terms of building a pipeline of products, we already have five products in development that we are speeding up to meet our mission of launching iconic products and we are excited about that.”

Sharma also spoke about the company’s partnership with Qualcomm, which many speculated could come in the form of a smartphone. “We also recently announced our partnership with Qualcomm, which will power many of the devices launching next year. This will be a very important partnership for Nothing.”

However, given that Qualcomm also makes chipsets for wearables, it is possible that we might be able to look forward to smartwatches as well. Either way, it will be interesting to see what the company will be up to in the next couple of years.
