In a unique release, Japan introduces the NEC VersaPro Type VD <VD-K>, a business-focused laptop that combines modern technology with a touch of nostalgia — The 13th-generation laptop stands out by retaining classic features, making it ideal for users with a penchant for time-travel-themed scenarios.

Designed primarily for business use, the laptop boasts a 15.6-inch full HD screen with a resolution of 1920×1080. It is powered by a 13th-generation Intel Core processor compatible with Intel vPro Enterprise, pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro. The base model includes 4GB of RAM (expandable up to 32GB) and 256GB PCIe SSD storage (expandable up to 1TB). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

The laptop incorporates contemporary features like a built-in 720p webcam with a privacy shutter and offers biometric authentication through a facial recognition IR camera and an integrated fingerprint scanner. Notably, it supports a removable battery, providing around 8 hours of usage between charges.

What sets the VersaPro Type VD apart is its past-proof design, featuring a mini D-Sub 15-pin (VGA) analog port for connecting to older monitors. Additionally, the laptop includes a built-in DVD Super Multi drive, catering to those who may need to access content on optical discs.
