UGREEN announced the expansion of its NASync smart storage lineup with the introduction of the and iDX6011 Pro at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The new models are positioned as next-generation network-attached storage (NAS) systems that integrate fully local artificial intelligence with high-performance hardware. By avoiding reliance on public cloud services, they aim to protect user privacy while meeting the growing demands of data management.
In line with UGREEN’s shift to a “AI-native” NAS approach, the iDX series transforms storage devices from passive repositories into intelligent systems capable of understanding, organizing, and interacting with data. These devices are intended for small businesses, organizations, families, and creators. They are made to provide enterprise-level security and performance in a local setting. Support for scalable storage capacities up to 196 TB, dual 10 GbE networking, Intel Core Ultra processors, and up to 64 GB of LPDDR5/x memory are examples of core hardware features.
With an OCuLink port, the iDX6011 Pro further enhances its compute power and professional-grade GPU acceleration, allowing for high-bandwidth connections for external GPUs or storage and establishing the device as a hybrid NAS–workstation for demanding workloads.
The key component of both models is UGREEN’s recently developed Local AI Engine, which allows for on-device intelligence without transferring data to external servers. AI-powered photo album classification, on-device transcription and summarization of voice memos, automatic file organization upon upload, Universal Search for concept-based file retrieval, and an offline AI chat assistant for querying and summarizing stored content are some key features. The goal of these features is to maintain privacy while enhancing effectiveness, accessibility, and data control.
Promotional Pricing for Pre-orders
Pre-orders are open on UGREEN’s website with promotional pricing: the iDX6011 Pro with 64 GB RAM is $1,599 (MSRP $2,599); the iDX6011 with 64 GB RAM is $1,119 (MSRP $1,999); and the iDX6011 with 32 GB RAM is $999 (MSRP $1,699). A Kickstarter campaign is set for March offering deeper early-bird pricing.
