XGIMI, a company best known for its smart projectors, used CES 2026 to introduce a new category of products: smart glasses designed to integrate smoothly into everyday life. With this announcement, the company signals its intention to expand beyond projection technology and enter the wearable technology market. According to XGIMI, its new smart glasses aim to avoid the experimental or intrusive feel that has characterized many AI-powered wearables from other manufacturers.
The new devices are part of XGIMI’s MemoMind product family, which is dedicated exclusively to hardware equipped with artificial intelligence features. The company emphasizes comfort, intuitive use, and discreet operation as core design principles. The embedded AI is described as working “silently in the background,” becoming visible or interactive only when necessary, rather than constantly demanding the user’s attention.

A key element of XGIMI’s approach is its AI architecture, which relies on multiple large language models (LLMs). Instead of using a single model for all tasks, the system dynamically selects the most appropriate model depending on the activity, such as translation, summarization, or decision-making. This adaptive strategy is intended to deliver more accurate and efficient results while keeping interactions seamless and unobtrusive.

Among the three smart glasses announced, the MemoMind One is positioned as the most advanced model. While XGIMI has not disclosed extensive technical details, it confirmed that the device features displays and speakers for both eyes. Promotional images suggest a simplified monochromatic green display system and integrated Harman Kardon speakers. User interaction appears to be handled through a touch point or button located near the front of the temples, allowing for basic control without complex gestures.

The second model, called the Memo Air Display, focuses on minimal weight and customization. Weighing just 28.9 grams, it is presented as the lightest option in the lineup. This model includes a single display, and XGIMI has not indicated the presence of built-in speakers. Instead, the company highlights that the frame and temples are fully customizable, suggesting a greater emphasis on personal style and comfort.

Both the MemoMind One and Memo Air Display are designed to last a full day on a single charge. They are also accompanied by a charging case that can extend total usage time to up to a week between recharges, reducing the need for frequent power management.

XGIMI also briefly mentioned a third smart glasses model, which has not yet been officially unveiled. According to the company, this version is intended to feel even closer to traditional eyewear in terms of appearance and wearability.

While many specifications remain vague, XGIMI stated that pre-orders should begin soon. Pricing has only been partially confirmed: the MemoMind One is expected to cost around US$599, while pricing details for the Memo Air Display and the third, unnamed model have yet to be announced.
