Fujifilm has officially unveiled the X-T30 III, the latest addition to its X Series lineup. Designed specifically for the “hybrid” market—content creators who require high-quality performance in both still photography and videography—the new model retains the brand’s signature vintage aesthetic while introducing significant internal hardware upgrades.

The camera is built around a 26.1 MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor paired with the advanced X-Processor 5. This combination enhances image processing speeds and improves dynamic range, providing a more robust foundation for high-contrast environments.

For video enthusiasts, the X-T30 III offers impressive recording capabilities:

  • Resolution: Supports up to 6.2K at 30 fps with 10-bit color depth.

  • High Speed: Captures 4K at 60 fps and Full HD at up to 240 fps for slow-motion effects.

  • Versatility: Includes an “open gate” mode, allowing for flexible cropping into various aspect ratios without sacrificing sharpness—a crucial feature for multi-platform social media posting.

A major highlight of this iteration is the integration of AI-driven autofocus, which can detect and track a wide variety of subjects, including humans, animals, and vehicles. This is complemented by digital image stabilization to ensure smoother handheld footage.

Fujifilm’s renowned color science remains a focal point. The X-T30 III features a dedicated Film Simulation dial giving users access to 20 different profiles, including the newer REALA ACE and NOSTALGIC Neg modes.

Portability and Pricing

Despite these professional-grade features, the camera remains highly portable, weighing approximately 378 grams. It also maintains modern connectivity standards, including wireless support and integration with Instax printers.

The X-T30 III is currently launching in select markets with two primary options:

  1. Body Only: Priced at approximately 102,999 INR (~$1,230).

  2. Lens Kit (13-33 mm): Available for approximately 119,999 INR (~$1,435).

With this release, Fujifilm positions the X-T30 III as a versatile, mid-range solution for creators seeking professional results in a compact form factor.
