Honor has officially unveiled the Honor Turbo 5G, an upper-tier mid-range smartphone engineered with a primary focus on extreme battery endurance and physical durability. Following preliminary listings on international retail platforms, the device was formally introduced on the company’s regional Russian portal.
The smartphone is built around a 6.79-inch AMOLED display delivering a Full HD+ resolution of 1200 x 2640 pixels. The panel features a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate for fluid system navigation and integrates an optical fingerprint scanner beneath the glass. Internally, the handset runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 platform, engineered for power-efficient mid-range performance. This chipset is paired with 8 GB of RAM for multitasking and 256 GB of onboard storage for media and applications.
For mobile photography, the rear panel houses a dual-camera system featuring a 50 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 5 MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 16 MP front-facing camera with an f/2.45 aperture. The standout highlight of the device is its substantial 8,560 mAh battery, designed for extended multi-day usage and supported by 80W fast charging technology.Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4
Engineered for rugged environments, the chassis carries an IP69K certification, providing robust resistance against fine dust ingress and high-pressure water jets. Despite the heavy-duty power pack, the phone maintains a slim profile measuring 161.9 x 76.1 x 7.76 mm with a weight of 196 grams. Wireless connectivity includes 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. Out of the box, it operates on MagicOS 10, layered over the Android 16 operating system.
The Honor Turbo 5G is available in the Russian market in three colorways: Black, Green, and Orange. The suggested retail price is set at 33,990 rubles, which converts to approximately $380 USD. Honor has yet to disclose rollout timelines and pricing tiers for the European market or other international territories.
