Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max in China, targeting the ultra-premium tablet market. The flagship device debuts the company’s proprietary XRING O3 processor, a 3nm TSMC deca-core chip clocked up to 4.35 GHz, paired with a 16-core G2-Ultra NX GPU and a quad-core Xuanjie NPU. Delivering an 85% leap in graphics rendering and scoring 5.61 million on AnTuTu, it pairs with up to 16 GB of LPDDR6 RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The tablet sports a 13.3-inch 3.4K LCD panel with a productivity-oriented 3:2 aspect ratio, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits peak brightness. An optional anti-glare Nano Soft Light Screen edition caters to creative professionals. Its full-featured USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port supports native DP-in, allowing the device to function as a low-latency external monitor for laptops or handheld gaming systems. Accessories include support for the Focus Stylus Pro and the TourBox digitizer console.

Enclosed in a slim 5.67 mm aluminum unibody, the hardware runs HyperOS 4.0, which introduces desktop-style multi-window management supporting up to six simultaneous apps. The tablet packs a 12,000 mAh battery backed by 120W fast charging, an eight-speaker Dolby Atmos array, a 50 MP rear camera with 4K recording, and a 32 MP front camera. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.

Pricing in China starts at ¥4,799 (~$675) for the 8 GB + 256 GB model, rising to ¥5,299 (~$745) for 12 GB + 256 GB, ¥5,799 (~$815) for 16 GB + 256 GB, ¥6,099 (~$855) for 12 GB + 512 GB, and ¥6,599 (~$925) for 16 GB + 512 GB.
