Founded by a former Managing Director and senior executive at Foxconn, South Korean display specialist EKLEER Co., Ltd. (CEO Matthew Chung) has announced its participation in IFA 2026, Europe’s largest consumer electronics and home appliances exhibition, taking place this September in Berlin, Germany. The company will showcase its dual-track display portfolio designed to address distinct demands across emerging and advanced economies.
Established in January 2021, EKLEER develops market-specific display solutions rather than relying on standard, single-model product rollouts. This differentiated approach earned the company a CES 2025 Innovation Award. Domestically, EKLEER is developing specialized military-grade portable displays under the Design-Technology Full Cycle Support Project by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP), while actively participating in social impact initiatives supported by the Gyeonggi State Social Economy Center.
At IFA 2026, EKLEER presents two flagship products: the Smart Display and the 16-inch QHD OLED Portable Display, at the Korea Design Pavilion by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP)
The Smart Display seamlessly converts Android smartphones into large-screen, desktop-style computing setups. Engineered as an affordable workstation for mobile-first regions, it enhances daily productivity across digital work, remote learning, and telehealth environments without requiring expensive PC hardware.
The 16-inch QHD OLED Portable Display delivers true blacks, vivid color reproduction, and high contrast ratios for demanding visual workloads. Featuring an industrial aesthetic registered in the European Union alongside a slim, portable profile, it is optimized for European graphic designers, video editors, and photographers who require precise color fidelity on the move.
EKLEER has established a corporate footprint across Germany and the United Kingdom, building strategic partnerships with multinational leaders, including Germany’s FESTO. In emerging markets, the company collaborates with Germany-based Africa Venture Advisory (AVA) to advance hardware supply agreements with leading African telecommunications and fintech platforms, including Orange and M-KOPA, prioritizing key target destinations such as Senegal and Kenya.
Despite global macroeconomic pressures involving fluctuating raw material and international freight costs, EKLEER is leveraging IFA 2026 to expand its distribution footprint across Europe and emerging regions, establishing a strong foundation to achieve its 2027 annual export target of $1.8 million.
“EKLEER focuses on engineering display hardware tailored to the exact operational needs of different user bases, from digital inclusion workstations in emerging countries to high-precision OLEDs for creative professionals in Europe,” said Matthew Chung, CEO of EKLEER Co., Ltd. “IFA 2026 serves as our strategic platform to validate our latest technologies with European partners and secure sustainable global supply pipelines.”
