The device didn’t ship with Android Pie out of the box when it first arrived. That limitation has finally been addressed today with the release of Android Pie.
The LG V40 was announced a few weeks ago and if you were thinking of getting your hands on the handset, you might be pleased to learn that the phone will now be available for pre-order. It turns out that the pre-orders are going live earlier than expected because apparently interest in the handset was much better than LG had expected.

A leaked render from the other day seems to have confirmed it, where the phone will feature three cameras on the back, and two in the front. LG is due to launch its second flagship smartphone of the year in the coming months. Several renders of the LG V40 have leaked online today and revealed some information about the upcoming device. It has a notch similar to that of the LG G7 as well as a triple camera system at the back.
LG is due to launch a successor to the V30 later this year and a new report claims that the handset is going to feature five cameras. The handset is tentatively called the LG V40 and it’s also said to bring a face unlock feature. At least two of those five cameras will be on the front and both will possibly be used for this face unlock feature.
We have gone past the first quarter of 2018 and what’s strange is that LG has yet to debut a flagship smartphone, that is unless you count the LG V30S which is more like an upgraded version of last year’s LG V30.
