The LG V40 was announced a few weeks ago and if you were thinking of getting your hands on the handset, you might be pleased to learn that the phone will now be available for pre-order. It turns out that the pre-orders are going live earlier than expected because apparently interest in the handset was much better than LG had expected.

Either way this is not a bad thing if you were planning on getting it anyway. The phone will be available via carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint, and B&H will also be carrying it. In terms of shipping, AT&T has also listed the dates as the 16th to the 18th of October. No word on the other carriers but we reckon that the dates shouldn’t be too far apart.

The LG V40 is the latest smartphone from LG and is their flagship for the later half of the year. For those learning about it for the first time, the phone features a 6.4-inch display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset under the hood. There will also be 6GB of RAM accompanying it, along with 64GB of expandable memory, a 3,300mAh battery, and a triple camera setup on the back that comprises of a combination of ultra-wide and zoom lenses.

We found the handset to be a pretty good handset during our review process, although we did find that its battery was a tad lacking, but nothing that can’t be addressed/fixed if you were to get your hands on a powerbank.
