LG has been working on a new device that it’s going to launch early next month. The company has confirmed that the LG V40 is going to be launched in October. The company’s new device will take on the likes of the Galaxy Note 9 from its Korean rival Samsung and fans are interested to see what LG has up its sleeve.

The company hasn’t revealed much about the device in the event invites that it’s sending out but the focus on cameras suggests that the LG V40 will have powerful camera features to offer. That’s not surprising as the bulk of the reports we have seen so far about the device also point towards powerful cameras.

If the reports are accurate, the LG V40 will have a total of five cameras – three at the back and two at the front. The invite is adorned by the “Take 5” tagline which seems to be a subtle hint that it will indeed feature five cameras.

It certainly won’t be the first device with a triple-camera system The Huawei P20 Pro came with three cameras at the back earlier this year while many companies have released handsets with dual front-facing cameras. The LG V40 will just be the first device to bring both of them together.

LG is going to unveil the LG V40 on October 3rd. We can expect to hear more about the device in the days leading up to its launch.
