Mophie, the prolific battery-packs company, has introduced a new model called Powerstation AC. As you can guess by its name, the electric output is powerful enough to charge a laptop and more!
The great thing about laptops is that you get to take it with you on the go, and with many laptops these days being so slim and light, in some instances it is as easy as slipping it into your bag and you’re good to go, instead of requiring dedicated laptop bags like how it was back in the day for bulkier models.
Mophie is a popular accessory maker that is perhaps best known for its battery cases called Juice Packs. Often, it quickly launches these battery cases after a new flagship smartphone is released. Just last week, the Mophie Juice Pack for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ was launched. It has been eight months since Google launched the Pixel XL and Mophie has now launched a Juice Pack for it.
The thing we’ve noticed with flagship smartphones is that battery is usually not an area that is focused heavily on. Instead companies focus on design, like how thin the phone is, how bezel-less its display is, and so on. This usually means that battery life tends to suffer a bit, where it’s not exactly terrible, it’s not exactly long-lasting either.
It has been a while since we last heard from LG and their “Friends” modular ecosystem, but over at Motorola, the company is still pushing to make modular phones more mainstream by announcing two new Moto Mods: a Mophie battery pack and an Incipio car dock, both of which will be usable by the Moto Z handsets.
Most of us know that to preserve our gadgets, you probably should not be dropping them on hard surfaces, getting them wet, or taking them to places with extreme temperatures. But what does this mean for those who are more adventurous and need to go to places that aren’t exactly gadget-friendly? Thankfully there are manufacturers out there who have thought this through, and this list of gadgets might make the […]
It was believed that modular phones could be the future. However following the suspension of Google’s Project Ara and the fact that the LG Friends and Moto Mod modular accessories haven’t exactly lived up to the hype, maybe we aren’t quite ready to embrace the modular smartphone yet. However that certainly hasn’t stopped Mophie from trying.
Wireless charging has been around for a few years now. Most high-end smartphones do support this charging technology but Apple has never adopted it for the iPhone. Not one iPhone since the first arrived in 2007 has had support for wireless charging, but that sort of changes today, with new wireless charging battery cases for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus from Mophie.
Both the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge pack decently sized batteries, although how well they fare still remains to be seen, but on paper they are about 20% bigger than their predecessors, so in theory they should last 20% longer, if not more as the Snapdragon 820 is supposed to be more efficient than older Snapdragon handsets.
It is not as though Mophie did not roll out any kind of offerings under the Juice Pack range for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus before, but this time around, Mophie looks set to toughen up your precious new handset in the form of the Mophie Juice Pack H2Pro for the iPhone 6 Plus. Now available for purchase, it is the ideal way to assist consumers in protecting […]
If you have been around smartphones long enough, there is a good chance that you have come across accessories made by the likes of Zagg and Mophie, with the latter specializing in battery packs and cases for smartphones. However it looks like any rivalry between both companies will be coming to an end.

However if you’re really particular about the way your gadgets look, you might be interested to learn that Mophie has recently announced a new line of powerstation battery packs. As you can see in the photo above, these do […]
The Samsung Note 5 is definitely not a slouch in the battery department. It packs a pretty sizeable 3,000mAh battery and thanks to its Fast Adaptive Charging, you can quickly recharge a depleted phone in a relatively short amount of time. However if you’d rather have peace of mind knowing that you’ll have battery all day, then Mophie’s new Juice Pack might be the answer. The company has recently announced a […]
