External battery packs are usually seen as a device that is more of a necessity, meaning that as long as it does the job, who really cares what it looks like, right? However if you’re really particular about the way your gadgets look, you might be interested to learn that Mophie has recently announced a new line of powerstation battery packs.
As you can see in the photo above, these do not look like your standard battery pack in the sense that they are actually pretty sleek and stylish. According to Mophie, these battery packs are designed from aluminum which lends itself to a stylish look, but at the same time keeping it light.
Mophie is also boasting that the new battery packs will offer 15W charging meaning that your devices should charge faster. Best of all, there is an accompanying app for these battery packs. What happens is that the app will keep tabs of your battery pack and will inform users when the battery is low or when the charging has been completed.
The new powerstations are offered in different sizes include 1X, 2X, 3X, 5X, and 8X. This basically denotes its battery size with the smallest being 2,000mAh to the largest being 15,000mAh. It ranges in prices too with the cheapest being $39.95 while the most expensive is at $149.95. They are also available for purchase via Mophie’s website.
