[MWC 2012] Prior to MWC, there were rumors suggesting that Samsung would be coming up with a larger version of the Galaxy Note, the Galaxy Note 10.1 to be exact, and for those who were hoping to see a 10.1” tablet with S-Pen support, you’re in luck as Samsung has officially taken the wraps off the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Users out there who have enjoyed the Samsung Galaxy Note, […]
[MWC 2012] Remember the HTC One X leak we reported on a few hours ago? Well if you’re not one to trust leaks or rumors, then you’ll be pleased (and possibly relieved) to hear that the HTC One X has officially been announced, and this device is indeed the quad-core beast that we’re guessing many HTC fans out there have been waiting for.
[MWC 2012] I got some hands-on time with LG’s new Vu, a rather large handset that is without a doubt a two handed smartphone. In some ways, this is LG’s Galaxy Note if you want. It has a different format as it is not as long. It looks a bit odd at first, but the wider display does provide a visually comfortable usage. For the hand, things are a bit […]
[MWC 2012] We got our hands on the first Tegra 3 handset, the LG Optimus 4X. Just like its predecessor, the Optimus 2X, LG is NVIDIA’s first partner for this new chip, but it won’t be the last (HTC unveils its own Tegra 3 device today as well). The LG Optimus 4X is different, and better in almost every way. It is obviously much faster, but it is also noticeably […]
If you enjoyed LG’s new L-series of Android handsets and you were worried that the LG Optimus L7 might be out of your reach in terms of price, perhaps you might be interested in settling for its slightly more affordable sibling, the LG Optimus L5 whose slightly lower-end and less powerful specs might make it a more wallet-friendly purchase.
[MWC 2012] Nearly a week ago, LG revealed their L-series of Android smartphones that include the L3, L5 and L7, a new series of Android handsets that LG is touting to be the company’s new design identity for mobile phones. Well if you’re in the market for a new Android smartphone with the looks to match, perhaps the LG Optimus L7 might be the device you have been searching for.
A few days ago we reported that a press shot of the HTC One X was leaked, well it looks like thanks to Greek website, FullGSM, they’ve managed to get their hands on more press shots of the device along with what they claim is the full specification list for HTC’s upcoming quad-core device.
About two weeks ago, we reported that Samsung had launched the Galaxy Tab 2, which at that time we thought was merely a refresh of its original 7” Galaxy Tab, and if you were hoping for a larger display, you’re in luck as it turns out Samsung will be launching two Galaxy Tab 2s – a 7” model which we covered in our previous post, and a 10.1” model.
When the name Samsung Galaxy Beam is mentioned, what comes to mind? If you were thinking about an Android smartphone with a built-in projector, then yes you would be right on the money! The device will sport an ultra-bright 15 lumens fully built-in projector that Samsung claims will allow for use even in outdoor environments, and if you’re the type that needs to make presentations on the go, then perhaps […]
If you’re keen on collecting everything Android, you’re going to want to head over to MWC this year. Following the tradition last year, Google will be giving out more Android pins this year – 85 to be exact. They will be scattered among different vendors at the event so you’ll need to explore the whole place if you intend on collecting every single pin. For those of you who can’t […]
Just the other day we reported that the ViewSonic ViewPad G70 may have been leaked ahead of their announcement at MWC. Well the good news for fans of ViewSonic’s products is that the company has decided to announce their entire lineup for MWC, and yes it seems that the ViewPad G70 was part of their lineup as well.
Mozilla may be known for putting out products like Firefox, but it looks like they might be interested in taking the smartphone market on with an operating system of their own dubbed Boot2Gecko, and according to rumors, it seems that Mozilla and LG might have teamed up for a Boot2Gecko phone of its own that will be going on display at MWC next week.
Once again it seems that another company has announced another one of their products ahead of MWC, but we guess that’s a good thing as it only whets our appetite for what’s to come. While Acer may not necessarily be up there with Motorola, HTC or Samsung in terms of Android smartphones, that certainly has not stopped them trying.
