Ultrabooks are fun to use – they take so little time to boot up, and are lightweight enough for you to tote around without breaking your back, especially when you are on the showfloor walking around. Well, Toshiba of Japan has their KIRAbook range of devices that sport both of the qualities mentioned, and this time around, the KIRA range has been updated to boast of the fifth generation Intel […]
[CES 2015] What is it with the race to have the thinnest device around? Surely at some point or the other, unless an engineering miracle is achieved, a laptop can only get so thin – before the structural integrity does not hold up to the scrutiny of everyday wear and tear. Having said that, Dell pushes more boundaries with their latest Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook which will be thinner – […]
Before a particular piece of consumer electronics device were to hit the market, it will first need to go through the good graces of the FCC. Well, spotting a particular device over at the FCC is more often than not the mark that said device is set to roll out soon, and the ASUS Zenbook UX305 Ultrabook happens to have done just that. This Intel Core M Broadwell powered Ultrabook […]
Dell’s sleek, carbon fiber-clad XPS 11 is a hybrid convertible laptop that attempts to marry the best of a powerful Ultrabook and a performance tablet in a slim package. Rather than start with a tablet and then add a keyboard dock like in Asus’ Transformer series, the Dell XPS 11‘s form factor is more conservative, bringing business-like aesthetics, the power and performance of Intel’s fourth generation Haswell processor, and the […]

Yes, you read that right – the amount of pixels on the screen itself is eye popping to say the least.
When the MacBook Air from Apple was first introduced to the world, just about everyone was more than impressed with it. In fact, the extreme thin profile coupled with exceptional battery life (back then) did get Windows-powered notebook users asking just when will they be able to enjoy something like that? Good to know that the Ultrabook scene has grown since then, coming up with some decent designs to date. […]
