Nokia Reveals Trio Of Phones

Nokia isn’t giving up the good fight when it comes to cell phones and has announced three more handsets that will hit the market in Q3 and Q4 this year – the 2720 clamshell, 2730 classic and 7020. First of all, the 2720 is able to get your email account up and running on it within three simple steps thanks to Ovi Mail, and will also come with a preloaded version of Nokia Life Tools if you happen to reside in one of the selected territories. Other features include an integrated FM tuner, MP3 ringtones and Bluetooth connectivity. The Nokia 2720 clamshell, 2730 classic and 7020 will retail for €55, €80 and €90, respectively. More details on the other two handsets in the extended post. [Press Release]

As for the 2730 classic, Nokia wants to present this as the most affordable 3G handset from their stable, featuring a 2″ QVGA display, a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity, an integrated FM tuner and a preloaded copy of Ovi Mail. Similar to the Nokia 2720, it will also come with Nokia Life Tools “in selected markets”. Last but not least would be the Nokia 7020, one handset that ought to make its mark in emerging markets, a place where Apple cannot touch – yet. This basic handset comes with a monochrome external display, a 2.2″ internal color display, and will be equipped with an integrated FM tuner, a microSD memory card slot, a 2-megapixel camera and MP3 file format support.
