Kyosemi Spherical Solar Cells For Energy Harvesting Windows

It’s good to see that we’re moving towards a greener future, and Kyosemi Corporation looks like it has something to help us move closer to that goal. The corporation has unveiled tiny spherical solar cells that can be used to create windows that can harvest energy. These spherical solar cells used are actually solidified drops of silicon which measure 1.8mm in diameter, and are also highly transparent. With that in place, the cells can be embedded into glass to create a transparent solar cell window, allowing it to capture sunlight from any direction or angle. Would you like the windows in your house to be powering your computer in the future?
