Motorola Backflip Rooted

AT&T released its Motorola Backflip Android phone a few weeks back, and some folks probably aren’t too happy that the carrier stripped all Google content from the phone and replaced it with Yahoo and AT&T software. After the carrier released the source code, nothing much happened, but now it seems that someone have made use of that information and rooted the Motorola Backflip. So if you want full control over your phone, there’s still hope. The downside is that there aren’t too many people fooling around with the Motorola Backflip compared to the other devices, so if you want to root your Motorola Backflip, you’ll have to check out the instructions yourself, and tread carefully. You can be sure that AT&T won’t be too happy if you bring back a dead Motorola Backflip for them to resuscitate.
