LG HX300G projector relies on LED lamp source

LG has just introduced the HX300G projector that uses an LED lamp source in South Korea, coming in a light and compact form factor that seems to occupy the middle ground between consumer class projectors and pico projectors. Capable of offering up to 270 ANSI-lumens of brightness and a XGA resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels, the LG HX300G also sports 2,000:1 contrast ratio and 20dB noise level. The LED lamp life can last up to 30,000 hours on paper, while connectivity options comprise of a HDMI slot and a USB port. Depending on the situation and room size, you can project images from 15” to 150”. LG has yet to release a price point for this puppy, but we’re certainly looking forwards to a Stateside release as this could very well be a hit if the price is right, targeting the middle class folks.
