Epson introduces MetallicProof Film paper

Epson has just rolled out its new MetallicProof Film paper which was specially designed to be used with the Epson Stylus Pro WT7900 alongside Epson’s UltraChrome HDR White Ink. Not only that, Epson’s new MetallicProof Film will be accompanied by Epson’s innovative ClearProof Film and CrystalClear Film, where it will offer packaging designers and pre-press houses a range of high-quality, low-cost printing solutions that is able to deliver contract proofs, mock-ups and prototypes. MetallicProof Film can be considered to be a revolution, as it will deliver prototyping capabilities in-house with new substrates and printing effects. What does this mean for the consumer? Well, we could very well be looking at new kinds of packaging for all sorts of gadgets among other items down the road, but whatever the case is, we do hope there is an environmentally friendly bottomline that companies look at.
