Acer Aspire One Happy drops model numbers

Looks like Acer has finally realized that having a slew of alphanumeric model numbers for their Aspire One range of netbooks might just get a tad too confusing after a while, which is why we’re ecstatic that the latest model is known as the Acer Aspire One Happy. Basically, it doesn’t seem as though it is new, since this is more or less a rebranded Aspire One D255 that comes with a bunch of new bright color options – presumably to make you happy, of course. Both the keyboard and display bezel are white in color, while the lid and palm rest area will be splashed with bright colors to lift up your mood. As for its hardware, expect to find an Intel Atom N550 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM and Windows 7 Starter Edition as the operating system of choice. We hope to see this hit the market sooner rather than later though.
