HP unveils 23-inch HP 2310e monitor

HP doesn’t just make computers, you know. The top computer manufacturer in the world has just rolled out its latest white LED-backlit display known as the HP 2310e, and judging by the model number of the monitor, you can more or less guess that it will come with 23-inches of viewing real estate. Capable of reproducing a 1080p image with a 8,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, accompanied by 250 nits of brightness, a 5ms pixel response time and the ability to display 70% of the color gamut, you won’t find the 2310e short when it comes to connectivity options either as we’re looking at (pun not intende) HDMI, DVI-D, and a full DisplayPort. For those who have a heart for the environment, the HP 2310e will be green in certain aspects, being mercury-free, glass arsenic free, and relying on recycled plastics for the manufacturing of its body. Out on September 29th later this month, HP has slapped a $290 price tag on this puppy.
