Lego Mindstorms robots controlled via Android app

Who said that your Android-powered phone isn’t as versatile as its iOS-powered rival? Well, someone decided to come up with an Android app that allows you to control Lego Mindstorms robots, thanks to the free Mindstorms NXT app. Of course, you will need a Mindstorms robot in the first place, not to mention an Android handset that runs on Eclair at least (Froyo-powered owners can breathe easy and smile form ear to ear). Once the MINDdroid app is downloaded, you can use your Android handset as a remote control, controlling the Lego robot through the easy method of tilting your phoe. Something tells me that both kids and adults will have a field day with this app. If you’re interested, scan the QR code above using your Android phone to go straight to the app’s page.[Press Release]
