Concept: echoCHOLE Four Dimensional Ultrasound For Non-invasive Surgery

Nobody likes getting stress-inducing lawsuits especially when you’re involved in the medical field. Designers out there have conceptualized a four dimensional ultrasound or non-invasive surgery, calling it the echoCHOLE. The design aims to employ four dimensional ultrasound technology to better see what’s going on inside the patient, especially inside the bladder when performing gallbladder removals. The 4D imaging can also be used to see real-time images of fetuses in the wombs of expectant mothers. Will this concept become a reality anytime soon? Video after the jump.
