Hanguenado concept are powered by solar juice

The Hanguenado concept plays on the idea of a pair of shoes tied together by their laces, where one tosses them up onto a long wire when you get home. The Hanguenado, however, offers something slightly different – it is actually a couple of wooden light-boxes which have been tied together by a cord that enables them to adapt to any given environment or use. Made out of local wood, they are put together using water-based adhesives and finished with water-based finishes, while relying on low energy consumption LEDs which are solar powered during the day to store enough energy to last through the night – we’re looking at around 8.5 hours of continuous light. Here’s to the Hanguenado concept being realized.
