The Digital Storm xm15 notebook offers something for everyone, as this 15-incher will ship in various hardware configurations. For starters, the base model will deliver a 2.4GHz Core i5 processor, a 1366 x 768 resolution display and NVIDIA’s 1GB 425M discrete graphics chipset. Of course, if you happen to feel loaded and have the cash to spare, why not go all out by adding a 2.67GHz Core i7 CPU to the mix, not to mention a mean 8GB of RAM and a 1920 x 1080 resolution LCD display? Regardless of which configuration you choose, all of them will take advantage of NVIDIA’s Optimus system for automatic switching between the discrete GPU and integrated graphics processor, and we do look forward to the company’s disclosure for its battery life estimates. Other hardware specifications include HDMI and VGA outputs, optical audio ports, USB 3.0 connections, and eSATA ports for faster data transfer. The starting price for the Digital Storm xm15 notebook is $999, so logically speaking, it can get pretty pricey, fast, the higher up the evolutionary ladder you go.
