Guitar enthusiasts will definitely know of the limited edition Firebird X which has purportedly being sold out already, and Gibson (the Firebird X’s manufacturer) certainly isn’t going to rest on their laurels, but will instead look towards the future by announcing an upcoming catalogue of guitars which will feature its Pure-Analog Engine that is capable of being opened up for 3rd party application development. This will definitely make you look at an electric guitar differently the next time around, since you can then download applications which will work with any guitar using the Gibson standard, and the Firebird X will definitely be included. Of course, only an authorized store is the place where vendors can sell their verified compliant applications, where revenue will be shared for everyone’s mutual benefit. Apps for guitars, now how about that?
