You might remember those high-powered Arctic Spyder III blue lasers that we brought to your attention a while back. Now it seems that aside from making you look like a Jedi, this laser has another handy feature as someone decided that it would be good to use a pair of these lasers to pop corn. The setup involved aiming two Spyder III blue beams on a kernel of corn and kept it on the poor defenseless thing until it popped, which took about a minute or so. While it’s less practical than using your microwave, since it’d take you several hours to pop a whole bowl of them, it’s nonetheless very cool, fun and probably dangerous. You can check out a video of this in action after the jump.
