Verizon isn’t the only company that is airing ads during the Super Bowl and Motorola has also snapped up a slot for its upcoming XOOM Android-powered tablet. Folks describe the ad with a pretty girl trapped in an Orwellian world that seems to hint of Apple’s iPad (or other products), due to the white earbuds. The main character shows his attraction to her by using the tablet to purchase flowers and show her a video professing his interest, and the girl is “liberated” when she removes the white earbuds and the XOOM is touted as “the tablet to create a better world”. The specifications of the XOOM tablet are already pretty good, such as a five-megapixel rear-facing camera, two-megapixel front-facing camera, 4G support which will arrive at a later date. Despite the rumored specifications of the iPad 2, the XOOM should give it a good run for its money. Video after the jump.
