Every hero needs a sidekick, and anyone who is looking for a smartphone will, well you know where we’re heading with this – need a Sidekick too – a Sidekick 4G in this case. The handset itself is developed by Samsung and will run on the Android operating system, where it is touted to be one of T-Mobile’s fastest smartphones to date, and is capable of working on theoretical peak download speeds of up to 21Mbps. Taking off where its predecessor has left off, the Sidekick 4G will sport a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, a sturdy “pop-tilt” hinge, a five-row QWERTY keyboard, as well as keeping you in touch easily thanks to the Sidekick Group Text and Cloud Text options. Preloaded with essential Facebook and Twitter applications, you can be sure that keeping in touch with this puppy is not a problem at all. Other hardware specifications include a VGA front-facing camera, a 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor and integrated Google services support among others. Out in spring this year, it will come in a couple of colors – matte black or pearl magenta, for a yet unidentified price point.
