Acer releases two new 3D displays

Acer HN274H

Acer America has just announced the release of two new 3D monitors – the HS244HQ and HN274H. Designed for gamers and 3D movie enthusiasts, these LED monitors are touted to bring everything from movies to still pictures to life. The Acer HN274H is a 27″ widescreen monitor that supports both HDMI 3D and NVIDIA 3D Vision. It has a DVI-DL connection for supporting extremely high resolution images when attached to a computer, and ships with NVIDIA active shutter 3D glasses that work with the monitor’s built-in IR emitter. The HN274H is available now with an MSRP of $689.

The HS244 HQ is a 23.6″ widescreen 3D LCD for folks who don’t have that much real estate on their desktops and supports HDMI 3D. It ships with Acer active shutter 3D glasses and has a built-in IR emitter as well. It features a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) for you to enjoy your HD movies and games, and has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz – more than enough for full HD 3D movies, games and TVs. The HS244HQ is available now for $449.
