If you’re currently on the lookout for an Android-powered device and decide to pick one up from Amazon, then you will be pleased to know that the Internet retail giant will continue to give its backing to the Appstore for Android market strategy by throwing in new promotions that will let consumers receive $25 in application credits – as long as you decide to bring home selected Verizon Wireless smartphones and tablets, of course.

The promotion will run for the entire week, all the way through 11:59 pm PST on May 1st – this will inhclude over a dozen devices that are offered through the AmazonWireless webstore, where among them include the battery-sapping HTC ThunderBolt 4G, the Motorola XOOM and the Samsung Galaxy Tab. When purchasing it, you will receive a promotional code that is worth $25 in the Amazon Appstore credit that is valid all the way until December 31st.

This offer will be limited to those who are in possession of US billing addresses only. Any takers?
